Wassa Dominase: Nana Kyemere Kokoankra ll hands over an ultra-modern ICT Lab to Basic schools, urged public to prioritize education

The Divisional chief of Wassa Dominase stool land, Nana Kyemere Kokoankra ll has built an ultra-modern ICT laboratory, fully equipped with computers and handed over to Wassa Dominase Basic school, in the Wassa Amenfi Central District of the Western Region.

Before the commissioning of the edifice, Nana Kyemere through his foundation “Nana Kyemere Kokoankra Charitable Foundation” (NKKCF) sponsors of the ICT Lab, has distributed three thousand sanitary pads (3000) to the female students in support of Ghana Education Services’ “supporting the girl program”, awarded 15 outstanding students, ranging from Basic school to Tertiary with certificates, laptops, and a cash prize of Ghc1000 to each student.

Nana Kyemere Kokoankra ll, addressing the gathering urged the Youth to take their studies seriously in order to secure a better future for themselves.

The divisional chief further in his speech touched on the deplorable nature of road networks in the Wassa Amenfi Central District, especially from Asankrangwa to Humijibre-Sefwi Bekwai stretch that has become a death trap to drivers and traders who oftenly ply the road.

According to him he has personally notified government about the poor nature of the road and he is again through peace fm pleading with government to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.

The Wassa Amenfi Central District Director of Education, Mrs Gloria Binny Gontor who was overjoyed after the ultra-modern ICT Lab was commissioned and handed over to her by Nana Kyemere Kokoankra Charitable Foundation expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Nana Kyemere and his foundation for such facility of its kind in the district.

She promised to develop culture of maintenance to ensure the ICT Lab better serve its purpose of establishment.
