The Immediate Past (10th) primate and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Church of the province of West Africa (CPWA), Most Rev Prof Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, has urged the Youth in the country especially the upcoming pastors to focus on Christ and serve him right at this end time.
According to him, the work of God is by calling, so he asked the youth to meditate more upon the word of God.
Most Rev Prof Daniel Yinkah Sarfo was speaking during his valedictory/retirement and Thanksgiving service at St.Cyprians Anglican Cathedral at Fante New Town in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
He served in his current position twenty two years and was the Archbishop of Internal Province of Ghana for nine years.
He however expressed his profound gratitude to all those who supported him during his administration as a leader of the church especially Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his wife Lady Julia Osei Tutu. He took home with brand new Toyota Hilux.
The Ashanti regional Minister designate, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah commended the Archbishop Most Rev. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo for the love, care and commitment he showed since he became the regional minister.
The event attracted several dignitaries, including Justice Baffoe Bonnie, Pastor Lawrence Tetteh, Ing.Attah Poku, Barima Osei Hwedie, Hon Simon Osei Mensah, Archbishop Emeritus Peter Kwesi Sarpong, Dr. Kwame Addo Kuffuor and the Superintendent of Assemblies of God Prof.Paul Frimpong Manso.
