The Renowned FM/ TV Presenter, Oheneba Nana Asiedu of Wontumi Media has been observed throwing shades and directing sarcastic messages at the camp of Bawumia.

The statements indicate that, the massive victory of the venerable Chairman of NPP-Ashanti, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi should not be linked to Dr. Bawumia.

Below are the comments he made on his Facebook Page;

1. Get this right, Chairman Wontumi solely financed and owned his campaign ,nobody contributed a pessewa because he was ready and prepared for these games. He knew you will gang up against him though he has sacrificed for you, he prepared for it. He won for himself and the NPP.

2.You knew you were gona benefit from his victory yet you played the ostrich type when he was being fought and maligned. He understands the game and he will play it as you wish. Hypocrites

3.You couldn’t influence less than 900 delegates to vote for your candidate and you wana chop Running Mate…? Wo impact no sua ooh.

4.Maybe a Vice Presidential Candidate in the Republic of Umuofia.

5.Where from this we are in the same ‘camp’ thing…? I don’t belong to any ‘camp’ and even if there is, didn’t you see and read from the ‘camp’ members when they were insulting and defaming his character…? Hypocrites

6.The Ashanti NPP chose to listen to the later day Illuminati than the Ancient day Saints.

In fact, it is trite knowledge that, Team Bawumia vehemently fought against Chairman Wontumi to the extent of resourcing Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) through Bawumia’s office, therefore, It is very funny to declare that Wontumi supports Bawumia after all what his surrogates and preferred would-be running mate contenders did to him.

Oheneba Nana Asiedu described what Team Bawumia is doing as hypocrisy and needs to be immediately checked and halted by them.

It goes on to debunk the mischievous publications by mynewsgh and graphic online on their websites supporting the perception that Wontumi was a candidate of Bawumia. The publication by Graphic online was titled “NPP Elections: Bawumia Conquers Ashanti Region”.

These false publications by mynewsgh, graphic online and others goes on to inform and caution media houses to do proper background check of issues before concluding on a publication on a subject matter.

Team Bawumia should bear in mind that the upcoming presidential primaries will be very interesting! It will be one of the most intriguing and interesting contest ever. Grounds work shall be separated from lip service.
