😱”I’m Glad Asare Bediako Lost The Election”😱 ~ NPP Elections, Research Director Evans Nimako. [Unfolding Issues Aftermath NPP Elections]

New Patroitic Party’s Director of Elections and Research, Evans Nimako says he is excited Mr Robert Asare Bediako lost in the Ashanti regional chairmanship race for saying he offered 1 thousand cash to each delegates just to win their votes.

According to him, it was against the party’s rules and that the country’s laws prohibited engaging in vote buying.

At a discussion of UTV’s aftermath of NPP regional elections and unfolding issues at 10:00PM late news with Agya Kwabena on Monday 30th May, 2022, the NPP research and elections director was shocked after he heard Mr Asare Bediako who was among the five contestants in the NPP regional chairmanship race in the Ashanti region and who took the 3rd position with 20 votes could disclosed that he paid gh¢1000 to each of the delegates.

Defeated candidate of just ended Ashanti Regional Chairmanship race of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Robert Asare Bediako has said he was surprised he lost the election after paying GH¢1k each to delegates for a votes.

While expressing concern about the seeming monitization of politics in the country, Asare Bediako said he later discovered that his contenders gave more than what he offered to the delegates leading to his loss.

“Whiles I was paying each delegate GH¢1,000, I thought I would win but some paid more than me so the delegates also gave in to the highest bidder and it’s very worrying the trend of monetization in our body politics,” 3news quoted Robert Asare Bediako

However reacting to what the former Asokwa NPP chairman has said, Evans Nimako told Agya Kwabena that he was happy Robert Asare Bediako lost the election.

“I am glad Mr Asare Bediako lost in the election if truly he said that he paid 1k to the delegates for votes”, he declared

“How can you lead the party in Ashanti region the heart of NPP, where majority of votes are produced with such attitude” Evans Nimako quizzed.

“That means he (Asare Bediako) does not has a message, power is won by the message and policy you carry, reach out to the delegates and electorates not the money you spray on them, and I am happy he lost” the election director Maintained.
