“We must create avenues for employment to reduce irregular migration among the youths” – Immigration Officer

The Sampa Sector Commander of Ghana Immigration Service within the Jaman North District,

ACI John Morcher has revealed that government and other private individuals must ensure the creation and expansion of job avenues in the country to make the country an attractive place for the youth to stay for a better future indicating that government alone cannot provide employment hence the need for other investors and private individuals to support the government for better living conditions in the country.

He advised the youth of today to desist from the instantaneous way of getting wealthy but work hard for success in the future. He stressed that there are a lot of Jobs opportunities within the country that can yield a more fruitful life than involving oneself in irregular migration.

On the activities of the Ghana Immigration Service to yield a positive outcome for the country, ACI John Morcher pleaded with members within the country, especially those living around and within the border towns to assist the immigration service by reporting suspected persons to them to be able to suppress terrorist and other attacks that may befall on the community and the country at large.

ACI John Morcher made this known to Kwaku Mensah Abrampa on Gye Nyame Fm on a Socio-Political program dubbed Adwenkyere aired every Tuesday evening.
