The deceased Georgina Frema, who was with the Zoomlion office in Abuakwa North Municipality died after suffering a severe headache.
“Georgina Frama, a NABCO personnel working at the Zoomlion Abuakwa North Office in Akyem Tafo went to church yesterday evening. She closed from church, felt some headache which got serious deep in the night and was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival” a close source said.
Some beneficiaries of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) flooded social media with concerns regarding unpaid allowance.
The agitations intensified a few weeks to the Christmas and New Year season but were not paid.
They claimed they have not been paid for four months.
NABCO was introduced by the Akufo-Addo led administration in 2017 as part of measures to address graduate unemployment in the country.
The initiative was run under seven modules namely; Educate Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, and Civic Ghana.
