Atebubu Amantin: Parents Lament Over High Cost Of Their Wards’ Prospectus by School Authorities

Parents laments as they can’t afford to purchase items in their wards prospectus demanding by the schools

Some parents at Atebubu Amantin Municipality of the Bono East region are seriously lamenting over the items which some Senior High Schools are demanding from the first years.

According to some of the parents who spoke to our reporter KWABENA MANU stated that they have spent over Ghc 4, 000 to purchased the items but still there are some remaining items yet to buy.

Some also stated that government have introduced free SHS but they are not seeing it as they are paying much to purchase the items demanding by the schools.

They therefore called on Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service to intervene by stopping some schools from adding unnecessary items in their prospectus.
