JUST IN: “There has been indiscipline and unnecessary gossiping by coordinators of some presidential aspirants” ~ Abronye DC, abstains from special voting

After extensive consultations with many friends in the New Patriotic Party concerning the upcoming special delegates congress, I. Kwame Baffoe Abronye, Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, have decided to abstain from the exercise for the following reasons.

(a) There has been indiscipline and unnecessary gossiping by coordinators of some presidential aspirants.

(b) These coordinators have made it a point to destroy some delegates or party officers in order to make money from them.

(c) It is unacceptable and undisciplined for a Regional officer to be a coordinator for more

than 5 presidential aspirants, promising them the number of votes they will receive from him.

(d) It is also unacceptable, unwarranted, and absolutely false for a certain presidential

aspirant spokesperson who vigorously campaigned against me in the Regional elections but

did not succeed to go around creating problems coupled with lies within the party.
