Tarkwa: 37 year old Prophetess assassinated

Residents of Akyempim in the Tarkwa Municipality were shocked on Monday, following the suspected murder of a 37-year-old prophetess in the area.

The body of Mrs Rose Boafo of Word of Knowledge Church, was found at her church premises around 4 pm on Monday.

The body was discovered in a small apartment attached to the church building, where she normally uses as a consulting room for her congregation.

The police discovered that her throat had been slashed and the body had several cuts.

Police suspect that her assailant stabbed her multiple times in the abdomen.

The body has since been deposited at the Tarkwa Government Hospital.
