“Take advantage of this new era technology and learn hard for your future” ~ RM encourages school Pupils .

The Western North Regional Minister, Hon Richard Ebbah Obeng has advised school pupil in the region to take advantage of this new era of technology to study hard for their future.

Mr Percy Ayamga ,director of Administration RCC Western North, who represented the RM in his speech said the top most priority of the RM and the RCC is education, and that was the reason why he introduced “one school child one desk” right after his appointment as the leader of the region.

He brought this to bare in Bibiani during the Western Regional Reading Festival for basic schools ,BS1 _ Bs 3 under the theme; *Learn to read , Read to learn*. He added that as parents we have to ensure that technology do not become more harm than good to our children.

The Western North Regional Director of education Mr Stephen Kwaku Owusu explained vividly the intended purpose of the Reading Festival and the need to embrace it by all and sundry.

He again, lamented about the lackadaisical attitude of some parents towards their children’s education and pleaded with all parents to take keen interest in their wards education for the betterment of their future and that of the region as a whole.

Mensin God Bibiani Limited who were moved by the outstanding Performance of the children through their Sustainability Manager, Lawyer Emmanuel Aidoo promised to fund the entire competition, adding that children are the future of every nation therefore the need for every teacher to be much concern about their welfare without neglecting them with the intention that they are not their biological children .
