Pupils Of Oseneso D/A Basic School Sit On Bare Floor To Write End Of Term Exams

The end of first term examination begun today. Meanwhile, students of Oseneso D/A Basic School in the Wassa East District of Western region sit in dust for the examination.

The students have made several complaints to the authorities the assembly man and the DCE to the extent of staging demonstration to the chief of Oseneso palace to convey all the palace chairs to the school.

It sadly seems that, the children’s plea is not being given the necessary attention the authorities concerned.

In an earlier interview last week with the DCE for Wassa East district Hon. Emmanuel Boakye, he said that, he has given the assembly man in the area Hon. Ernest Ohene Asante an amount of Gh3,000 to make furniture for the school.

The assembly man, Hon. Ernest Ohene Asante also came out to confirm that, such amount of money has been given to him by Wassa East district assembly which is being used for the furniture.

Last week he promised to the school and the entire Oseneso community that the furniture would be ready by Monday, 28/03/22 before the start of the exams.

Today, Thursday, 31/03/22, Listowel Aboagye Dacosta of Sweet FM visited the school to find out whether the promise has been fulfilled, unfortunately, the students sat on bare floor, some of them also sat on the widows edges and others standing with their exams materials spread on their arms.
