Embrace Govt Digital Agenda To Promote Tourism Since The World Is Changing

Deputy director of Ghana tourism authority and coordinator of Ghana care obaatanpa programme Mr Agyanim Boateng has admonished people in the tourism industry to embrace government digital agenda and adopt ultra modern way of doing things to be able to bring tourism industry back on track now that the government has opened things two years after covid

Speaking to Appiah Danquah Rok fm, he disclosed that one of the thing which is going against the industry is customer care since most tourists cites,restaurants, hotels, pub’s bars etc does not know how to treat customers

He has therefore urged the industry players to take advantage of ongoing digitalisation agenda by government to promote thier businesses since it is the best way to promote the industry. Mr Agyanim Boateng made this remarks when Ghana tourism authority through government Ghana care obaatampa programme organised a workshop for people in the tourism industry in the western region at Takoradi

Mr Agyanim Boateng again stressed on the need for the country to promote tourism and educate the people on the need to visit tourist centres since a lot of people even doesn’t know the potential tourists centres in thier locality
