71 Nifa SHS Students “Truants” Denied Access To Write WASSCE Exams, Parents Appeal to School Authorities

About 71 final year students or WASSCE candidates have been denied access to sit for the WASSCE Exams over Truancy Records

71 students of Nifa Senior High school in Akuapem Adukrom have been denied access to sit for this year’s WASSCE exams by school authorities over Truancy records.

Parents of the candidates and the students are worried and stranded over the decision of the management and have moved for a consideration for the students to write. But school management are still in the position to stick to their decision.

Therefore appealing to the government through Ghana Education service to come to the matter and help address it because it matters the welfare of the innocent students.

The headmaster of the school, Dr. Phillip Victor Akoto in his response snubbed the media men who went to him to enquire the issue.

Peace Fm reporter Michael Akrofi contacted the Eastern Regional Education PRO Mr. Asiedu Acheampong, he said, the issue has not been officially reported to them at the regional level. And it’s news to him but, he will work on it.
