Kumasi: Pankrono Npp Youth Wing Launched, Public Urged to Commit Faith in Gov’t agenda 111 project
The Chief Executive Officer for Trinity Hospital Dr. Emmanuel Kwabena Obeng has urged Ghanaians to have faith in government’s agenda 111 hospitals project to improve the healthcare situation in the country.
The medical expect said Ghanaians who stands to benefit the government’s ambitious project must commit to it irrespective of one political colour.

As Chairman for the occasion, he voiced not to be pessimist and never want people to doubt the commitment of government in improving infrastructure in the health sector. “Let us together commit to it”, he said.
He however stated that the covid-19 has affected every country on the planet, and because of it’s ravages, it is prudent for the general public to be wary about the dangers and continue to observe all the safety protocols.
President Akufo-Addo during the sod cutting in the Ashanti region on Tuesday August 17 has described the Agenda 111 initiative as the nation’s biggest ever investment in the health sector and was glad that the biggest ever investment project is taking place during his tenure.
Each of the hospitals will cost $16.88 million, with $12.88 million being used for the construction of the hospitals and $4 million for medical equipment.
President of the republic has said the hospitals will be completed within 18 months.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Hello Fm Rexkin Ohene Boateng at the sideline of the function, the 2020 Old Tafo Npp parliamentary aspirant said the impression should not be created that the government has abandoned the existing uncompleted projects and is jumping onto new ones.
The Pankrono Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP, in the Ashanti Region ahead of their launching over the weekend embarked on a mammoth clean up exercise.
Led by their President, Ebenezer Owusu and supported by the Party’s Executives in the Constituency, the Member of Parliarment and other senior members and financiers of the party, they thronged the principal streets of Pankrono and tidied every gutters and corners particularly at the community center, Pankrono health center which doubles the Tafo-Pankrono Municipal Health Directorate and among other places.
The youth said they were ready to embark on a massive house-to-house campaign to trumpet the achievements of the NPP under President Akufo-Addo in order to retain power, break the eight years jinx and continue with the good policies and programmes of the government to safe Ghana.
They displayed the party’s successful programmes and initiatives like the 1D1F, Digitization, NABCO, planting for food & jobs, one district one warehouse, one constituency one ambulance, Free SHS, among others.
In a welcome address the youth’s president, Ebenezer Owusu disclosed that, their vision was not only committed to breaking the eight years jinx but was also to mobilize the teaming youth into community building and to provide support in terms of job, school admission, financial assistance in any diverse ways for the people with the help from the Member of Parliarment, Municipal Chief Executive, Party Executives and Party Faithfuls.
Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were the CEO of Trinity Hospital, Constituency Executives led by the Ag. Chairperson Hon. Nana Afia Konadu, section of Tafo-Pankrono Assembly members etc.
