Stop multiple sales of land-Goaso Manhene plead chifs as he launches 15th Anniversary
The Paramount Chief of Goaso Traditional Council, Nana Kwasi Bosompra I, has launched the 15th Anniversary of his ascension of the Paramount Chief of Goaso and Otumfour Abetwiahene at his palace in Goaso with call on Chiefs across the country to stop multiple sales of land to redeem their image, promote peace and development.
Speaking at the launch in Goaso, Ahafo Regional Capital, Nana Kwasi Bosompra I, said multiple sales of land by some Chiefs affects peace and development and therefore calls on such Chiefs to avoid same and also takes steps to revive communal labour spirit and effective monitoring of every government projects will accelerate development.
On August 28, 2008, Nana Kwasi Bosompra I, was enstooled to Succeed his groundfather, late Nana Kofi Boakye.
The Spokesperson for the Planning Committee, Paa Kwasi Wilson said the activities starts from today to August 26, 2023 the climate day.
