E/R Akyem Pankese Gyasehene Provides Mechanized Borehole Water For Owromera, Dual Desks To Akyem Pankese Basic School

Akyem Pankese needs a hospital and SHS due to its huge population

The Akyem Kotoku Mponua Gyasehene of Akyem Pankese in the Birim North district of Eastern region; Nana Kwesi Addo II has humbly called on government to build a hospital and a Senior High School in Akyem Pankese due to the high population increase in the town and other towns surrounding it.

He emphasized that although he himself and some chiefs in the community are doing their possible best to ensure development in Akyem Pankese community and its environs but he will plead with government under the leadership of president Nana Addo to do the heavy ones which their effort can’t provide for the people.

Nana Kwesi Addo II spoke to Peace FM reporter Kwabena Ofori during the commissioning of a mechanized borehole water for the people of Owromera and also presented dual desks to Akyem Pankese JHS which were financed by himself.

Information given by the people within Akyem Pankese and its environs reveals that this presentation of a mechanized borehole water and dual desks to the school aren’t the first humanitarian initiative Nana Akwesi Addo II has undertaken to help his people but a lot.

Nana in his speech has stated that “it’s always good to help your community when you have it” and certainly that has been his ultimate motivation for doing his possible best to rescuing his people with his little effort just to ensure that the people he is serving are leaving comfortably.

The headmaster of Akyem Pankese JHS; Mr. Peter Kwaku Ofori receiving the desks on behalf of the school thanked the chief for his much concerned for the school children and further called on the government to help build a new classroom block to replace the dilapidated classroom which the children still use in this modern Ghana.

Some of the school pupils of Akyem Pankese JHS who spoke to the media after the presentation were enthusiastic in getting new desks from the chief which was among their major challenges they were encountering in the school during studies and especially during examination.
