Despite media: Vim Lady lashes agenda 111 project

Award-winning Ghanaian Radio and Television personality Afia Pokuaa known popularly as Vim Lady has told the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government that Ghanaians no longer trust their promises and are grown past fanfare.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as part of measures to mitigate the impact of the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, will on Today, August 17, 2021, break grounds for the commencement of the construction of hospitals under the government’s Agenda 111 initiative.

The project is part of a grand vision for Ghana’s healthcare sector by the Akufo-Addo administration, the realization of which will ensure that 101 outstanding districts will be provided with hospitals in addition to 10 selected regional and specialized hospitals.

But reacting to the project and several unfulfilled promises made by the President Vim Lady as she is popularly known said “almost all the big fishes in the NPP are in Kumasi for funs because of this agenda 111. We will not eat accolades or hashtags. The government should be steady in its dealings with the people of Ghana. Are you people kidding? You cut sod for Kpong Tema Oil Refinery road last year before elections what has become of it? When we asked they said the contractor is on site. But I can say on authority that there is no contractor there as we speak”.

She indicated that even the Suame Interchange that needs attention hasn’t been worked on but the government deems it fit to lie to the people of Ghana that they will build 111 hospitals in one year.

Vim lady while addressing the issues indicated that several researches have indicated that things do not look good on the grounds for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) going into 2024.
