Senior Lecturer at Apenteng Appiah Minka University of Skills Training and Enterpreneural Development AAMUSTED Tanoso, Kumasi, who is also the Presiding Elder of the church of Pentecost PIWC Kotei in the Asokwah area of the church Elder Dr. ING. Appiah Kubi has urged Professionals to always serve their church and humanity positively with the knowledge and skills they have been blessed with, because they were given freely to them by God therefore the need to impact others.
Elder Dr Appiah said this at the Central Assembly of the church of Pentecost Kyeikrom district, Kyeikrom, in the Sefwi Bekwai area when PIWC Kotei led by the district Minister, Pastor Peter Blood Asante Ampong visited the church and the entire Kyeikrom Community with its ajorning villages for free medical screening with drugs.
PIWC Kotei district Pastor, Peter Blood Asante Ampong in his speech outlined what prompted them to embark on such journey from Kumasi to Kyeikrom.
Apart from the free medical screening, they presented 1 large size Aboboyaa, PA system, 100 bags of fertilizers, 1 bicycle and crates of minerals estimated over fifty thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC50,000) to the district Pastor Samuel Awugya and his officers including Awuku Addo.
It was disclosed that, conveying church members from the villages to attend joint church programs at the district center Kyeikrom has always been a problem, worrying aspect is that, sick people in the village find it very difficult to seek medical attention due to lack of vehicle especially at night and also knowing very well that the people of Kyeikrom are predominantly cocoa farmers, hence the purpose of donating aboboyaa for the church to be able to support and reduce such challenge.
Receiving the items , the district Pastor of the church of pentecost Kyeikrom district, PS. Samuel Awugya on behalf of the Officers and the entire congregation expressed his profound gratitude to PIWC Kotei for their kind gesture and promised to use the items for the purpose of which it was given,
According to him, he will ensure they are maintained regularly for its longitivity.
