BOST workers lay ‘RIP’ wreaths to welcome CEO

Some workers of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) have laid wreaths with ‘RIP’ inscriptions at the entrance of BOST to welcome the company’s, Chief Executive Officer, Mr Edwin Provencal.

The identities of the workers behind the act have not been discovered but sources tell Starr News that some workers who are against the CEO’s move to fight corrupt activities may have placed the wreaths to scare him.

The mostly white and red wreaths bore inscriptions such as “RIP Mr Edwin Provencal”, “Rest well”, among others.

Mr Provencal in an interview with Daily Graphic stated that the development was strange but not unexpected.

“Lately, transport owners’ activities on the adulteration and tampering of seals, which is curbed by BOST and the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), has made us targets,” he said.
