Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly clears perception surrounding with covid vaccines

The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly has assured residents in the Municipality with greater safety of the Corona Virus vaccine.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Alfred Amoah who led the Assembly stated that the President and Health experts have done due delegence on Covid 19 vaccine which Ghanaians must embrace it.

He said this today at Bibiani when the Assembly provided protection and Preventive Equipments PPEs in the three traditional capitals that form the Municipality, namely Bibiani-Anhwiaso, Chirano and Sefwi Bekwai.

Each of the Community received ten thousand nose masks and eight thousand alcohol based hand sanitizers.

Presenting the kits Hon. Alfred Amoah urged the people to have trust in the President, the Health Officials and Food and Drugs Authority and acknowledge the vaccine.

Ghanaians have received first consignment of COVID-19 vaccines by the Ghana’s health Authorities today, Wednesday, 24 February 2021 at 7 am at the Kotoka International Airport by Emirates airline.

Meanwhile the Paramount Chief of Sefwi Bekwai Traditional area, Oyeadeeye Basape Kwadwo Armah lll eulogized the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the Municipal Assembly for the gesture.

Apart from the Bekwai traditional council, the Municipal Assembly further distributed four thousand nose masks and three thousand hand sanitizers to markets, lorry terminals and hawkers in Sefwi Bekwai today and extra six thousand of the same items to Bibiani on Friday.
