The District Chief Executive for Banda, Hon Emmanuel Akonne has disclosed that the Bui Power Authority has selected Bongase lake site to develop a suitable fish landing site to modernise the fisheries industry and to improve on production in the area.
He reveals this in an interview with our correspondent Addai Mununkum in Sunyani

Hon Emmanuel Akonne expressed his gratitude to the Cheif Executive Officer of the Bui Power Authority for always giving answers to the request of Banda District Assembly.
The DCE urged the inhabitants of Banda to keep faith in Nana Addo and NPP administration that the government is committed to giving every area of its fair share of the national cake .
The District Chief Executive further explained that the Bui Power Authority is set to establish sugar factory in the Banda district to aid government 1 District 1 factory agenda.
The Bui Power Authority is also constructing one thousand capacity astroturf sports stadium to boost sports activities in the area he said.
