Avert money inducement ~ former Local Gov’t Minister warns NPP delegates

The Former Local Government Minister under the erstwhile John Agyekum Kuffour’s administration Hon. Kwadwo Agyei Darko has advised party delegates to look beyond money but elect a befitting candidate who could secure the NPP another opportunity come 2024 general elections.

He said, more often than not delegates relegate their responsibilities that they are being sent by their constituents to elect a befitting candidate rather than inducement.

According to him, when delegates are being financially induced, they might not have moral right to insists for development agenda.

Hon. Agyei Darko gave the advice to NPP delegates in Bono Region when the former trade minister and flagbearer hopeful for NPP John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen paid a courtesy call on the Sunyani Traditional Council to announce his Presidential bid in the Bono region.

Meanwhile, the Omanhemaa of Sunyani Traditional Council Nana Akosua Dua Asor Sika Brayie ll, entreated politicians to ensure unified front and fight for one goal for Ghana.

She therefore advised Alan Kyerematen and his campaign team to embark on campaign devoid of insults and disparaging comments.

The Queen was particularly happy for how Alan Kyerematen has carried himself in his campaigning.
