Agona East MP, Kwanyako Chief Smoke Peace PipeS

The Member of Parliament for Agona East Constituency, Mrs Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr and the chief of Agona Kwanyako, Nana Ampem Darko II have smoked the peace pipe to end the many years of feud between them.

It was spearheaded by Dr Richard Asiedu and Mr Kofi Anokye, both natives of the town.

After a closed door meeting, Mrs Sawyerr in an interview with the media thanked the chief for ending the feud with her.

She pledged to work closely with him in order to attract the needed development into the town.

Speaking on behalf of Nana Ampem Darko, the Gyasehene of the town, Nana Kweenu II, said that Nana Ampem Darko is ready to partner the MP towards the progress of the town.
