Ashanti Region: AKSDA Commences GHC2 million 16 Unit Classroom project at Buoho

District Chief Executive for Afigya Kwabre South, Adu-Poku Christian APC and the Member of Parliament Williams Owuraku Aidoo have cut a ribbon for the commencement and construction of a 4 story building with 16 unit classroom facilities at Buoho on Sunday to stem quality education in the community.

The GHS 2million worth project which is expected to be completed in 6 months time is being funded by Quarry Development Fund, QDF that has been established by the assembly to provide development within and beyond the District.

Addressing the people at the gathering, the DCE, Adu-Poku Christian charged the chiefs and people to support the government to materialise this and the upcoming projects which the assembly is set to execute next year such as market and police station so as to mitigate crime and other social vices in the community.

The Chairman of the Quarry Development Fund association, Mr Adu-Tutu Gyamfi in an interview with newsmen stated that, despite the numerous encroachment confronting, the association through the Fund has provided many projects in the District not only in education but also in roads and bridge construction as part of their corporate social responsibilities.
