A/R: Old Tafo-Pankrono Constituency NPP Youth Organizer Hopeful Schools Fresh Voters

Old Tafo-Pankrono Constituency NPP Youth Organizer Hopeful Schools Fresh Voters.

There are many myths about youth voters: They’re supposedly “apathetic” or simply choose not to vote.

But the truth of the matter is that despite the many barriers that stand between youth voters and the ballot box, young people have always been passionate about making their voices heard.

In view of this, the Old Tafo-Pankrono Constituency New Patriotic Party Youth Organizer Hopeful Mr. Ebenezer Owusu, has provided a lecture service to young Ghanaians who are yet to exercise their franchise the first time on how to properly cast votes to avoid numerous rejected ballots.

A total number of 313397 representing 2.33% rejected ballots were recorded in the 2020 general election. This according to him was as a results of poor electoral education among the first time voters.

Speaking on the topic dubbed “How to vote as a first time voter” at the Dabanka Hall at the Wesley Girls Senior High School in Old Tafo Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, the Pankrono NPP Youth Wing President schooled the upcoming voters to study the procedures used during electoral process.

The Youth Leader Hopeful in the Constituency also advised them to not only rally behind the NPP government but they must all also go out and advise their colleagues the need to support the Npp to break the eight years jinx in order to protect President Akuffo Addo fragship policy and programs especially with the Free Senior High Education.
