Sampa Border Post: Suspected Fraudster nabbed.

Suspected Fraudster arrested at the Sampa Border Post for defrauding a young man with GHc3,000.

The Sampa Immigration Service has apprehended One Outtara, a citizen of *Ivory Coast* who is Suspected to be in the company of Qnet for defrauding a young man believed to be roughly 27 years with over Ghc3,000 with the reason of flying him to France for greener pastures.

According to Mr. John Morcher, the Assistant Commissioner of Immigration service in the Jaman North District, a Ghanaian by the name Osei Joseph and One Okada Rider from the Ivory Coast were halted at the Sampa Border post on their way from Samp(Ghana) to Ivory Coast for further checks before they are permitted to continue their Journey just to find out through their investigations that, Joseph Osei was directed by a friend who claimed resides currently in France to pay an amount of Ghc3,000 to someone he described as a travelling agent for travelling documents at Aflao indicating that after settling the above amount, he was redirected to repay an extra amount of Ghc6,000 at Bondocou (Ivory Coast) for further processing to aid his travelling to France.

Mr. John Morcher stressed that the Ivorian has since been arrested and will be handed over to the Ivory Coast police Service for further investigation and subsequent disciplinary action to be taken. He, therefore, advised the youths in the country to beware of the kind of people they interact with which involves the payment of monies and exchange of other vital personnel information to avoid being defrauded.

Mr. Joseph Osei, the defrauded Young Man Shared his Ordeal with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa indicating that His very close friend spoke with him about His travelling to France and realized it could be of help to him since he is struggling with his Sliding Doors business in Ghana hence decided to leave for Greener pastures stressing that he was convinced to pay Ghc3,000 initial amount and further prepare for Ghc6,000 for all his travelling documents only to realize at the immigration post after further interrogations that the link was not genius.
