Official: Akua Donkor Petitions Speaker of Parliarment Over Anno-Dompreh’s Alleged Gold Bottle ‘Theft’ Brouhaha

The 2020 flagbearer for the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor has officially petitioned the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Somana Bagbin over the alleged gold bottles ‘theft’ by the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency in the Eastern region, Hon.Frank Annoh-Dompreh.

The founder and leader of the GFP in an up-close interview with the press emphasized that, the legislature wants to use his office to maltreat and intimidate her, perhaps the decision to petition the Speaker of Parliament.

According to Madam Akua Donkor, the lawmaker attacked her with thugs over a piece of land she bought some years ago, claiming ownership of the land and other properties including four gold bottles over billions of Cedis.

“I bought a piece of land at Nsawan-wangala in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency some decades ago, the MP and the MCE came from nowhere and wanted to claim ownership of it. They forcefully broke into my house and took away valuable properties including the gold bottles, every effort to retrieved my belongings have proven futile. I am pleading with the Speaker of Parliament and other stakeholders to add their voices so that I can get my properties back”, she noted.

In addition, she called on H. E Nana Addo, former President John Agyekum Kuffour and other well-meaning NPP members to call the MP to order for such unlawful behaviors.

“I am pleading with H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo, former President John Agyekum Kuffour and all well meaning Npp members to take this matter up and deal with Hon. Annoh-Dompreh and the MCE ,Hon. Kwadwo Buabeng for such uncivilized behaviors, it’s a disgrace to the Npp fraternity”, she reiterated.
