The former member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Nana Akomea has had his say on the upcoming major elections in the NPP.
According to Nana Akomea, Ghanaians only know Dr. Bawumia and Alan Kojo Kyeremanteng(Alan Cash) as the key and potential flag bearers of the NPP.
Nana Akomea believes that, these two giants should come together and stand on one ticket as a flag bearer and the other as avice.
He added that, one party or person should accept to be the vice and the other should also accept to be the flag bearer. He believes that, this will save cost and also boost cordially relationship in the party.
Ghanaians have reacted massively to this and below are some comments on social media.
From the comments above, most Ghanaians are really about what Nana Akomea said. They believe that, he has what is best for the party at heart.
Others also argued that, whether Bawumia or Alan Cash as flag bearer, both parties will lose the 2023 General Elections.
This comes after the annual delegates conference of the NPP is said to happen in the Ashanti region where the main decision will be made there. Currently all roads in the Ashanti region leads to Kumasi.
