Man 73, Shot by Unknown Assailants

A Man believed to 73 Yrs has Been shot by a group of armed Robbers at Coronation, Cape Coast.

Mr Mensavi Amusu was shot in the leg in a bid to make away with an amount of 2,500 gh cedis he had earlier withdrawn from an undisclosed bank in cape coast coronation junction a sub community of cape coast south of the central region.

According to an eye witness, who narrated the incident to Peace News’ Sally Ngissah, said, the victim went to bank for some money and was followed by the suspected armed robbers to the bank who then executed their plans.

“The armed robbers were three sitting on a motorbike with two each on the bike and upon reaching there, they fired warning shots and shot the victim legs and made away with his money”

The victim was rushed to the cape coast teaching hospital and is responding to treatment.

The police in cape coast are currently hunting for the perpetrators to bring them to book.
