The embattled member of parliament for Assin North Constituency, Mr. James Joe Gyakye has admonished the members of the New Patriotic Party and the Assemblymembers in the Assin Assin North District to bury their differences and focus on developing the constituency instead of fighting on part lines.
He made the statement during an interview with Rich Fm and Peace Fm reporter Oscar Adawu Dadzie after the confirmation and swearing-in of the Assin North District Chief Executive Hon Charles Ohene Andoh.
He used the occasion to congratulate Mr. Charles Ohene on his re-election as DCE and pledge to support him unreservedly.
Mr. Charles Ohene Andoh the who was re-elected as the DCE for the area pledged to work assiduously with both NDC and MP members without party colours. He however appealed for support from all and sundry to transform the area. He also thanked the president and the Assembly members for reposing trust in him to serve the people again.
