INSTRUCTIONAL HOURS HAD BECOME A CHALLENGE AS RAINSTORM HAD DEROOFED CLASSROOMS.

The Asante Mampong Municipal Education Director Mr Gabriel Antwi had disclosed that,immediate assistance is needed to help curb their present predicament.

According to him, severe rainstorm had deroofed 6 different basic schools making instructional hours challenging to both teachers and students.

He bemoaned that,the affected schools are schooling under trees and this indeed had really deepened their wounds

He therefore appealed to the government, NGOs and other cooperate organisations to run to their aid so that, things could be streamlined.

At Mampong Nkwanta, the L\A Jnr High School has felt victim to similar circumstances. The headmistress of the school, Mrs Genevive Dakora explained the challenge the disaster had imposed on them.
