Ghana Gas CEO Dr. Ben Asante receives National Honours Award.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, March 14 conferred a National Honours on the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Company, Dr. Ben K.D Asante, for the roles he played in the fight against the dreadful Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Ben Asante received the award for the invaluable assistance and the donation Ghana National Gas Company made to the government of Ghana during the fight to contain the viral disease.

The national awards are presented to persons who have made immense and recognized contributions in sectors such as the civil service, military, prisons service, education and public health, agriculture, commerce and industry, the judiciary, scientific and other research, sports, culture and the arts, and the financial sector.

Those of the COVID bloc included Members of the National COVID-19 Taskforce and Trustees of the Ghana Covid-19 Private Sector Fund.
