Delta Variant: MCE for Kwabre East extends Education to Churches.

Kwabre East Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Osei Assibey Bonsu has sent Covid-19 education from one church to the other on the necessity of observing the various health protocols to make the municipality a Covid free.

The Chief Executive has advised people residing in the Municipality to strictly adhere to the corona virus preventive protocols due to the adverse impact on the third waves of the Delta variants.

According to him, the inhabitants are the complaint, yet the same go flout the safety protocol measures immediately after their various Church service, an act he’s optimistic, that not justify their Godly act, therefore the need to note that health directives in respect to Covid-19 is obligatory everywhere.

Hon Osei Assibey Bonsu observed that, the scene at the church was quite encouraging and accepting because everyone was seen in their nose mask and social distancing, however he lamented over how they abuse the same protocols right after church services.

The first MCE of Kwabre East since the former District was upgraded to Municipal status was speaking at a farewell service in honor of Pastor and Mrs Jerry Kusi Acquah at the Mamponteng Church of Pentecost in the same Municipality on Sunday.

Meanwhile the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah had earlier urged all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to ensure mandatory wearing of nose masks by the populace in their various jurisdictions to contain the spread of the virus.
