Dadiesoaba Nursing Training: Students Cry Over Lack Of Plant Which Poses Security Threat

Students of Dadiesoaba Nursing Training College in Ahafo Region say the absence of plants to provide electricity when there is blackout poses security threat and affects their studies and have therefore appealed for help.

They said this when the Asutifi South DCE together with his staff visited the school.

The President of the school’s SRC, Osei Stephen Sarfo explained that students live in fear and panic when lights go off because the school which is one the best academically in the region lacks plant as an alternative source of power.

Aside students security been on a threat as a result of lack of plant, the SRC President indicated that their studies are also affected because students are unable to learn privately in the evening when power is off.

With these, they are appealing to government, NGOs and individuals to come to their aid to have a deserving plant.

In addition, the Administrative Manager for the school, Ibrahim Saana also touched on the lack of fence which is also affecting their security.

He mentioned, currently the school has become the feeding ground for animals such as sheep, goat among others which ought not to be so.
