The Chief of Appiayinase Traditional area in the Juaben Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II has admonished schools children to take their studies serious despite the rise of the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the Country.
According to him Ghana and the entire world are not in the normalcy yet Humanity cannot forego or stop certain aspects of life such as education.
Nana Kwanin Kwanfo made this advice when he presented educational materials such as books, pens, mathematical instruments etc which worth millions of cedis to all the JHS1 Pupils in both Public and Private Schools in the Juaben Municipality on Friday as part of His yearly benevolency on Education towards School Children.
He said the aim is to equip and eulogies the fresh pupils for a good start into junior aspect of secondary education adding that the introduction of Otumfour Education Fund that has supported students also encouraged Him to initiate such a program.
Some of the Schools were Methodist JHS1, Roman Catholic JHS1, Presbyterian JHS1, Mother Smith JHS1, Juaben M/A JHS1 and Nobuam Schools etc.
Meanwhile the Municipal Director of Education, Ing. Charles Adu-Kumi who received the intems on behalf of the Schools speaking to heroesghnews.com expressed a warmest gratitude to the Appianyinasehene Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II for His annual contribution to the schools in the Municipality and assured the Chief to utilise the items to yield the purpose in which it was given.
He appealed to other stakeholders, corporate bodies to emulate and emitate the same gesture.
