Speaking at Nelerigu, in the North East Region, Mr. John Boadu, the NPP chief scribe again disclosed that if NPP lose sight and fail to break the 8 year election cycle the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will take the country to the international monitoring fund (IMF) as they lacks the ideas to transform the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian.
In his view, about 96 per cent of the social intervention programmes under the 4th republic have all been executed by the NPP administration.
He said, NDC lacks what it takes to be better managers of the economy of this country. As all initiatives that have happened in this country, about 96% could be credited to the NPP, including Free SHS, 1D1F, one village-one dam, school feeding program amongst others.

Mr. John Boadu again reminds the NPP members that campaigning for flabearership hopefuls breaches party code of conduct
The General Secretary of the Party again reminded party members about the need to abide by the party’s rules and regulations at all times.
John Boadu’s reminder followed subtle campaigns being undertaken for some flabearer hopefuls by some party members at the party’s delegates conference in the North East Region.
According to him, it is not advisable for party members especially executives to disregard the code of conduct of the party which could aid in ensuring the party has a smooth transition during the search for a new flagbearer.
Mr. Boakye former energy minister who is also gunning for the Flag bearership position in the Party also on a sideline advice the party to take concerns of the grassroots very serious, consider and address them to help develop a solid base for the party irrespective of who ever is elected as the flag bearer of the party to 2024.
Also said Npp Must at all cost break the 8 since the tradition of Ghana is architect of the NPP party and also represent the safest pair of hands to manage the affairs of the country and not just breaking the 8 but NPP to be a dominant party in the country.
