As earlier stated by the head of cooperate affairs at the Youth Employment Agency YEA, Mr Akwasi Afriyie which was published in the 24th August, 2022 edition of this website that the YEA and Ghana Police Service GPS have signed a memorandum of understanding to recruit 10 per cent CPA Personnels into the mainstream of policing, the YEA in line with the YEA Act 2015 (Act 887) has officially announced to recruiting new personnel into the Community Protection Assistants Module.
The Agency is also is partnering the Ghana Health Service to rollout the CHW Programme in line with Regulation 1 of the Youth Employment Agency Regulation 2016 1 22111 to augment the community health workforce to improve access to health services in rural communities and contribute to achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and responding to COVID-19.

COMMUNITY POLICE ASSISTANTS (CPAs)
As part of effort to reduce the rising rate of unemployment in the country, the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in line with the YEA Act 2015 (Act 887), oversee the development, coordination, supervision and facilitation of employment for the youth and related matters in Ghana and in partnership with the Ghana Police Service is recruiting new personnel into the Community Protection Assistants Module
