”Take the money but vote against him” ~ Rev Owusu Bempah ‘codes’ NPP delegates

Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International has shared a coded message to New Patriotic Party delegates ahead of their November 4th vote.

On Sunday, after the conclusion of his sermon, the Pro-NPP Man of God said he had a special announcement to make.

After issuing a disclaimer about reports suggesting he had prophecied the emergence of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia to help NPP break the 8, he said he had advice for NPP Delegates.

“Don’t let them buy your votes. Vote for someone you know has a track record of delivering. Vote for someone who can create jobs for our youth. If they bring you money, if you like take it but don’t vote for them. Whatever curses they say over the money will not work. Take the money and vote against them. Vote for someone you know can help this country.” He told the congregation.

Some online analysts suggest the man of God is targeting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in his message.

Earlier in the same sermon, Rev. Owusu Bempah disclaimed any pro-Bawumia prophecy credited to him.

“Some are going about saying that I, Rev Owusu-Bempah says that God has chosen Dr Bawumia to come and lead the NPP, and that he is the rightful candidate to help the NPP break the 8.

“They claim I, Owusu-Bempah gave that prophecy. I plead with everyone watching me, I know the media is recording this and the whole Ghana is watching me. I have not made such statement anywhere. I’ve not said it in my church or anywhere.

“So if you watch YouTube and see some people having such discussions that made such prophecy to President Akufo-Addo that they should bring Dr Bawumia to lead the NPP and break the 8, it is not true”, Rev. Owusu-Bempah said.
