Shortage Of Drugs Hits Kenyasi Prisons ~ Authorities Call For Help

The Head of Religious Affairs at Kenyasi Prisons Camp in Ahafo Region, DSP Moses Adjavorn has expressed concern over lack of drugs for inmates to help improve their health and has therefore called for help.

According to him, many inmates do fall sick per the activity of the camp which is farming but for them to have drugs for treatment remains problematic and calls for immediate response.

He revealed this when Fountain Gate Chapel Ahafo Branch donated 10 packs of drinks, 200 packs of cooked rice, a number of second hand clothes and to the Kenyasi prisons camp.

The Head Pastor of Ahafo Kenyasi Fountain Gate Chapel, Rev. Dorsia Opoku Gyamfi who shared words of encouragement and prayers with the inmates and also presented the items on behalf of the church passionately appeals to religious bodies, NGOs, individuals among others to do visit the camp frequently to interact with inmates for them to understand that they are not neglected by the society.
