Resign and focus on your health- Alban Bagbin told

Presidential Staffer Newton Abeeku Offei has informed Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin through a Facebook post to resign and focus on his health. His words of advise came few hours after the Speaker of Parliament signalled going to Dubai for 30 days medical check up.

This is the second time the Speaker is flying out over health issues.

“In any of these civilised countries, the Speaker of parliament, the Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin would have resigned to focus on his health, for smooth running of government business.

The role of Speaker of is extremely stressful and rapidity with which he’s been junketting Accra and Dubai for medical attention, is further exacerbating his condition and stalling business in the House.” Newton Abeeku Offei advised Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

As to whether Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin will listen to the advise and act accordingly, we’re yet to know. For now, it’s unclear about the main health issue affecting the Speaker.
