Rabies kill 3 in Sunyani – Vertinary department

The Sunyani Municipal Vertinary Officer Dr. Juliet Darfour-Boateng has confirmed that three (3) person’s have died as a results of Rabies in the Municipality.

She has therefore advised owners of dogs, monkeys and cats to vaccinate their animals with anti rabies.

Dr. Juliet Darfour Boateng said this to Nana Asempa Asa of spacefm in Sunyani, Bono Region.

She has therefore recommended for prompt medications immediately after the affected animal bites.

Adding that, animal vaccination are not expensive as compared with human cure after affected animal bite.
