NPP Elections: “We Ashantis support competency, capability, effective and efficiency ~ AOPSE (Ashanti Caucus) to Tribalistic Aspirants”
The Association of Polling Station Executives AOPSE, of the New Patroitic Party in the Ashanti region has stated that the NPP party faithfuls in the region only support and hail persons based on their competencies, capabilities, effectiveness and efficiencies and not the tribe of such personalities.
According to them, the AOPSE Association is shocked by the tribalistic propaganda by some aspirants that seek to dismantle the common fabric of the elephant family together.
At a press conference to launch and endorse a “John Boadu Factor” at Pankrono on Tuesday, the Speaker for the Association, Chairman Francis Boamah maintained that John Adwenk3se3 Boadu was able to restore peace and victory for NPP when there was tension and turmoil raining in the party prior to the 2016 elections.
“Of course, he who climbs a good tree deserves a push. He has secured power for us, two times and it is not surprising, if he claims he has the keys to the Breaking the Eight Padlock. Why should we be ungrateful to such a person?” He rhetorically stated.
Chairman Boamah added that, JB is the only general secretary who has lobbied for the payment of subvention to each of the 275 constituencies and regional officers on monthly basis and also provided 4×4 pick-up vehicles to all the constituencies to support the activities of the constituency executives.
The Convenor, Mr Sarpong Samuel on his part reiterated that it is very sad that now because of Politics and fanaticism, some people who should know better have lost their sense of Patriotism.
He said Truth, honesty and objectivity have all now been thrown to the dogs and we are now chasing shadows. Adding that, they are not shocked that some people out of their blind loyalty, pretending not to have seen the achievements of John Boadu, Posterity will be the ultimate judge!
Some of the members of the association also highlighted some achievements of Uncle JB describing them as unprecedented in history of Ghana as far as politics is concerned.
According to them Adwenk3se3 John Boadu has able to established Pink sheet tracking system and also provided computers and IT infrastructure for the various party offices. Others include monthly stipends for communicators and serial callers, young entrepreneur assistance and many others.
“Why has the opposition NDC consistently maintained their general secretary for years, It is therefore the reason that the NPP must keep and maintain their secretary who knows all the rules of engagement” They quizzed.
