at Nkumkrom near Pokrom
A 12 year old school girl at stage 4 has met her untimely death early hours of today at Nkumkrom near Pokrom in the Akuapem South District.
Information gathered by Michael Akrofi, peace fm news reporter was that, the school Girl and her junior brother were on board a trycicle from a village called Dumpong to school at Pokrom.
Whilst on board and got to Nkumkrom in a curve on the same stretch, a speeding loaded Zoomlion Truck with registration number GT 6478-18 honk on the Trycicle Popularly known as Aboboya.
In an attempt by the confused rider to give way to the Truck in the curve, the school Girl fell off from the Trycicle. She attempted to escape but, the Truck run to her at crush the deceased head.
The entire Nkumkrom residents were thrown into a state of shock and full of Mourning over the unfortunate incident.
Michael Akrofi again gathered that, the family of the deceased recently relocated to the Dumpong Community from Pokrom and are yet to change their place of school which the unfortunate incident.
Police have so far visited the scene, convey the body to the morgue, the truck driver and and the tricycle rider with the Aburi police to assist in investigations.
