MAMPONTENG: DCE FORMS DIALOGUE WITH PASTORS TO IMPROVE THE DISTRICT.

Kwabre East District Assembly has organized a consultative meeting with various Pastors and Heads of Churches in the district in view of soliciting ideas and opinion from them and also bringing the governance to the doorstep of the people and to be able to deliver their duties accordingly.

Addressing the participants at St Joseph Parish Church at Mamponteng on Wednesday, the District Chief Executive, Hon Nana Osei Asibey Bonsu called on all churches in the district to come together as group for quick and ease way of reaching them.

He introduced to them the government’ flagship programs, interventions and policies and the District Assembly’ sets programs such as the “Kwabre Kentey and Adinkra festival” which has been officially launched recently.

The Dce advised them on extreme noise making, registration of church names and permits. Other areas like Sanitation and Roads issues were also discussed.

Hon. Osei Asibey appealed to the pastors to corporate and conform with the government, its policies and regulations so as to improve the District.

The denominational churches categorized with Orthodoxe, Charismatiques, Pentecostal churches and Spiritual churches came in with their numbers to engage with the Chief Executive as it an unprecedented for them.
