Natives Of Dormaa-Akwamu Living In London Contributed Money To Buy Tree Seedlings To Cushion Green Ghana Agenda
In the effort to cushion the government Green Ghana Agenda, the Natives of Dormaa-Akwamu living in London have contributed huge sum of money to buy over 500 tree seedlings to be planted in and around Dormaa-Akwamu township.
The District Chief Executive for Dormaa East Assembly in the Bono Region Hon Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman commends them for complimenting the government agenda and pledges his support for this initiative donated applicaible number of mango seedlings.
The Queen Mother for the area Nana Akosua Afrakoma who also double as Akwamuhemaa of Dormaa Traditional Council mentioned some developmental projects like maternity ward police station clinic the natives have injected their money into and urged Ghanaians to cultivate the practice of those abroad with coldest weather have seen the sense of planting trees how much more we at hottest area.
The Amankorahene of Dormaa-Akwamu Nana Nti Adomah l, took the opportunity to advised residents of Akwamu to protect the tree seedlings and clean their frontages.
