Gold for oil policy not to destroy gold business, Managing Director PMMC.

Managing Dir ector for precious minerals marketing company (PMMC) nana Kofi Awuah has explained that government policy ”gold for oil” does not prevent gold buyers from buying gold but rather it prevent them from exporting it.

According Nana Kofi Awuah the government has no intension to collapse some people’s business especially gold buyers but rather to improve it.

Nana Awuah said this in an interview with peace FM reporter nana Poku of Dynamite FM Tarkwa when the leadership of PMMC engaged with gold dealers in Tarkwa on the government policy “gold for oil”

He added that they PMMC has planned to open an office in Tarkwa within two weeks so that all gold buyers can sell their gold there.

Nana Kofi Awuah also spoke about the motive behind the engagement.

In an interview with nana Poku of Dynamite FM Tarkwa, the chairman for gold dealers Association Tarkwa, Alhaji Dauda suleman commended the leadership of PMMC for their engagement.
