Forestry commission destroys all illegal farming in various forest reserves.

Sefwi Juaboso forestry commission has destroyed what they say is illegal farms in the krokosue forest reserve.

The move was triggered after the management discovered large farms in the reserve without approval of the forestry commission, district manager Mr Mark Aiddo Gyamfi disclosed.

Mr Mark Aiddo Gyamfi said measures are being put in place to restrict access into the various reserves to avoid the menace of illegal farming, logging and their related negative impacts on the affected reserves.

Western North Regional forestry commission manager Mr . Stephen Asamoah Duah, further appealed to all stakeholders in the region to join the forestry commission in the fight against all forms of illegal activities in all forest reserves in his jurisdiction in particular and the country as a whole
