Eschew falsity and proudness towards electorates – Hon Akoto Osei to new Mps

Former Member of Parliament for Old Tafo Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei has admonished the 8th Parliamentarians of Ghana especially new elected MPs to exhibit trustworthy and humility to their Constituents as they have kick-started their duties as Members of Parliament.

He said they must endure and accept the fact that they can not execute everything in their term of offices, hence truth and humbleness must be paramount among them.

The Old Tafo outgone Legislator who was also the Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation in the Akuffo Addo first term administration made this advice at the 13th graduation ceremony of Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei Training Centre at Old Tafo Community Centre.

He disclosed that the most bosom greatest achievement during his term as Member of Parliament is the establishment of the Vocational and Technical Training Centre which has helped reduce unemployment in the Constituency.

The Municipal Chief Executive MCE, for Old Tafo Municipal Assembly, Hon Dr Fred Obeng Owusu said government is committed and determined to make technical and vocational education a major component of the educational curriculum and has adopted a multi-pronged approach towards revolutionising TVET, which prepares ready job for people and reduces unemployment.

Meanwhile the Board Chair of the Anthony Akoto Osei Training Centre which was formerly called Wealth Creation and Social Development Training Centre, Mad. Afia Konadu in an interview with heroesghnews.com said the Centre since 2006 has not only helped equipped young people to establish their own business but also introduced others in well known restaurants for job employment like Joffel, ITS my kitchen, Mckeon, Las palmas restaurants, etc.
