“I still stand by my words” Ejurahene to Fulani Herdsmen

The General Secretary for Tabital Pulaku International for Fulani herdsmen Mr Yakubu Musah Barry together with the association has organized a Press conference in Ejura following the Ejura Hene’s decision of driven Fulani herdsmen away from his land concerning the recent armed robbery cases in Ejura, recent one is the killing of a police officer in Ejura Miminaso Number 2 stretch

Mr Yakubu Musah Barry speaking on behalf of the association begged Nana Ejurahene Barima Osei Hwedie II to retract his statement for them to sit and talk for peace to reign in Ejura. He said this is a delegate issue that concerns the entire nation and not Ejura alone.

After his plea to Barima Osei Hwedie II, Nana said he still stands by his words that they should leave from his land.

Barima Osei Hwedie II then said Ecowas law that freedom of movement doesn’t mean they should come and be killing people therefore he has given them a week to leave but if the fails he(Nana) and his people will advise themselves

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyedumase who is also a committee member for Justice and interior at Parliament Hon Mohammed Bawa Braima has added his voice to the Ejurahene and said he is in support of Nana Ejura Hene’s decision
