Ejisu By Election: Owusu Aduomi Sets For Victory On Tuesday Inspite Of GHC 300M So Far Spent By The Npp

Resolute Aduomi Set For Victory In Ejisu On Tuesday Inspite Of GHC 300M So Far Spent By The Npp.

The people of Ejisu are re-living the spirit of Yaa Asantewa showing resilience and buying of conscience to vote for an Independent candidate in the upcoming by-election Owusu Aduomi.

Intel gathered from the constituency so far suggests that the ruling party against an individual has spent Ghc 300M yet the impact of the amount spent is nothing to write home about.

So far the Ashanti regional Chairman Wontumi ,the General Secretary of the Party Justine Kodua and Agya Koo have all been booed by the constituents who believes the days when one could come there with their 13th century tricks is over.

The strategy of Npp supporters from outside the constituency pounding fufu and some washing ladies panties is also not yielding any positive results as the constituents are determined to rescue Ghana by voting for an Independent candidate.

This development has compelled the Npp who hitherto considered this bye-election as a walk in the park to invite President Akuffo Addo and his Vice for a mammoth rally on the 28th of April,2024.

Political watchers in the Ashanti and particularly in the constituency believes the Presidents visit to the area will further reduce the votes of the Npp since his outburst could spell doom for the party.

They believe a similar faith befell the party when he addressed a rally in Assin North.

The Ejisu bye-election is exposing the Npp beyond all reasonable doubt that their so called hold on the Ashanti region is now a thing of the past.

If only Aduomi could cause such a havoc to the Npp,then it will be difficult for the party to handle the numerous Independent candidates who will be contesting in the region come December 2024.
